Magic Tree House Goes to Squires Castle

Today Magic Tree House Campers spent most of the day at Squires Castle!  Before leaving for our field trip, campers made their very own mini knight using a toilet paper tube and played some games out in the pavilion.  Squires Castle is located on the North Chagrin Reservation and is actually an old gatehouse to an estate that was never actually built.  It is always fun to go there because it seems like you are in an old castle.  How perfect for this week as Magic Tree House Camp is reading The Knight at Dawn.  Campers were able to hike, have a picnic style lunch, play in the castle and also play frisbee, ball and other games out there.  It was a nice change of pace to get off campus and luckily the weather cleared up for us!

Please remember to wear your bathing suit to camp tomorrow and bring a towel.  The bus leaves for swimming promptly at 9:15.
