Today was jam packed once again with choreography, blocking and scene work! The girls are becoming more comfortable with the various styles of dance and song and are starting to make wonderful connections with the different character and storytelling demands of each of the production numbers.
They continue to work on deepening their understanding of character objectives, intentions, and the reality of doing in acting class (ask them about their verbs) as well as being able to identify the obstacles in the scenes so that they can play the stakes and define their characters need to speak!
We ended today's rehearsal working on The Lonely Goatherd and the girls were wonderfully silly,merry, and joyful in their process.
