Wow! Summer has arrived with the start of GLEE (Girls Learning through Experiential Education)! Girls arrived this morning excited and ready to begin the day. With 30 girls this year, they spent some of the morning playing getting to know you games that allowed girls to learn more about each other. Part of what makes summer at Laurel's Butler Campus so exciting is the use of our high and low ropes course. As part of GLEE, girls participate in both high and low elements. The campers did many team building elements (Nitro Crossing, Triangular Traverse, Wild Woosie and Mohawk Walk) today as they prepare their skills, knowledge, and safety procedures for the high elements they will participate in later this week. We are all so excited to see what the rest of the week has in store!
