Daring Camp: Swimming and Project Adventure

Daring Campers challenged themselves today as they swam and did some low elements in our Project Adventure Course.  At the pool the many of the campers chose to do a swim test so that they could swim in the deep end of the pool, while other campers had more fun splashing around with noodles and kick-boards in the shallower water.

Despite the rain when we returned to Butler Campus the Daring Camp designed baseball hats in the shelter of the pavilion that they will wear tomorrow on their field trip to Progressive Field!  Many of the hats say "Go Indians"- am I sensing some tribe fans here?

Before lunch, the campers finally made it down to the creek, although muddy from the rain and had a blast.  There are tiny (and I mean tinier than a dime!) toads that the campers are really enjoying spotting and picking up in their hands!  They also found other critters that had come out from the rain.

In the afternoon, they worked with Project Adventure and were able to do two low elements and some getting to know you games.  They successfully did Whale Watch and Nitro Crossing.  Way to go!
