They started off the morning with a trip to the pool where they jumped, splashed and played. Unfortunately when we arrived back at camp it was raining, but those campers didn't let that get them down! Instead they talked about medieval shields and then each got their own paper shield cutout to design. They all spent a lot of time carefully designing a shield that represented themselves.
After lunch, the rain had let up and campers were able to head to the tree house to read some chapters from the book The Knight at Dawn, go to playground and even on a hike. By the end of the day the sun was out and campers were really enjoying the sunshine as they went up to the field and the pond for some games.
Please remember we have our field trip to Squires Castle tomorrow. Please dress for the weather and pack lunch (unless you have opted for the brown bag lunches)/snacks as normal. See you then!
