The last two days at LSTI have been an action packed whirlwind!
Students have focused their amazing energies on both scene work and choreography for West Side Story, The Lion King, Carousel, Sound of Music, and Damn Yankees! The girls are being stretched and challenged to grow in their artistic range by learning and performing various dance styles- modern, lyrical, jazz, and African dance! Almost every production number is in the final stages of being created so that next week we can focus on form, intention, and polish.
Students are also working on character development in both the scene work and the production numbers enhancing their storytelling skills and increasing both their dance skills and their vocal technique!
Tomorrow: Last day of WEEK ONE! Afternoon rehearsal to stumble through all of this week's AMAZING WORK!
