Today was a really great start of our second week of the program!
In acting class this morning students worked on active listening, motivation, and action/reaction within the context of their scene work. They are beginning to understand that everything happens for a reason and that there is no time that an actor can just check out on stage even if they have lines or not! We are creating a whole world of a play!
Then students continued their day working on the West Side Story prologue choreography with Ms.Offutt, their three production numbers with Mr. Motta, and an afternoon working rehearsal with Delo, where they worked on counting out Cool, adding back in the actors who left early on Friday for The Lonely Goatherd, and starting to do fix-ups on movement dynamics for WSS prologue!
Tomorrow: Miss Nabors joins the LSTI staff and begins work on DO-RE-MI!
