Magic Tree House Camp: Lions at Lunchtime

The two groups of our Magic Tree House camp had a lot of fun today!  Each camper had the chance to make his or her very own drum out of an empty oatmeal container.  Each boy or girl got to choose how to decorate the drum with things like google eyes, glitter, jewels, makers and sequins.  The groups began reading the book Lions at Lunchtime which follows Jack and Annie on an adventure in Africa.  This week will be African themed as they campers will enjoy a special visitor tomorrow who will do some African drumming for them and also makes some African animal crafts throughout the week.  The campers also ventured to the playground and creek today!  What an awesome Monday!

Don't forget- swimming tomorrow!  Please wear your bathing suit to camp under your clothes!  Bring a towel and some clothes to change into after!  See you then!
