Gator Train is Headed to the Beach!

Today's Gator Train campers took off for the beach...it looks like the weather is going to feel very "beach like" this week! Please continue to send swimsuits and towels as water play will be a highlight of our daily activities this week.

This week's teachers are Mrs. Porris, Mrs. Bocje and Miss Royan. Our wonderful counselors are Rory, Jenn and Kiara. They are looking forward to spending the week with our dolphins, whales and starfish! Today's activities included decorating the welcome bags with Mrs. Bocje, songs and stories with Mrs. Porris and "Does it float or sink?" with Miss Royan. Campers enjoyed making their own boats out of Playdoh. Unfortunately, our awesome playdoh boats did not float!

The Multi-Purpose Room was a fun place for recreational play today and a nice break from the heat (it's air conditioned!) New friendships have already been made and campers were excited to see their returning friends.

All in all, it was a great start to a new week in Gator Train camp!
