Channel 56: Planet Earth

The girls of Channel 56 have another fun filled week in store!  They started off first thing with Project Adventure.  The girls really get into this challenge by choice and stretch themselves to the limit!  Our high ropes courses are quite a feat, the girls climb trees, walk on wires suspended in the air, work together to climb high in the air and much more!  Ask your daughter which high ropes course she went on today!  In the afternoon campers talked about recycling and made flowers out of old magazines.  They also went on a hike!

We are looking forward to our trip to the Akron Zoo tomorrow.  The bus will leave promptly at 9:10 (the bus ride to the zoo is long)!  We will return around 3:30.  At the zoo, we will have a behind the scenes tour get a chance to look around the zoo ourselves!  Campers should wear their green Summer at Laurel t-shirt if they already have one, if not they will get one tomorrow!
