Camp Shakes is off to a rollicking start as we begin our process on one of Shakespeare's most beloved plays, Twelfth Night!
Students have spent the last two days learning strategies for approaching Shakespeare's text in addition to fundamentals of acting that will aid in their playing of the play! Students have now auditioned for the production and we will begin staging tomorrow. The production is ensemble driven and all students will contribute both through character and scene work, as well as creating the world of the play. Stay tuned for more updates and be sure to ask your student about their daily experiences and their creative process!
Attention: Your student's participation in the program will culminate in an hour long production of the show on Friday, August 12th at 4:30pm.
